Association has dedicated several plaques and monuments to commemorate
our ancestor Gabriel-Robert and his sons. From his hometown Lisieux in
France to the Charlevoix county, Qu bec.

Petite-Rivi re St-Fran ois
Tribute to
Bonaventure Dufour, second son of Gabriel-Robert Dufour. In 1742 et
1758, Bonaventure took possession of this concession from his
father-in-law Louis Tremblay and his heirs. His descendants have
preserved it until now.

May 1991, le-aux-Coudres
West of lsle-Aux-Coudres,
sector of the Cap La Branche, this monument recalls that this
land was the property of Gabriel's descendants, Gabriel-Robert Dufour's
younger son. Gabriel-Robert took possession of this concession
around 1715. At the time of his death, in 1720, some clearing
work was already on the way. His second son, Bonaventure, and his
family lived on it from 1734 to 1742. Then Gabriel settled on it until

June 1993, Beaupr
This monument was
erected in June 1993 by the members of the association of the Dufour
Family of America Inc. in celebration of the three hundred anniversary
of the arrival of the ancestor Gabriel-Robert Dufour in
"Nouvelle-France" around 1693. This memorial is located on the land
that the ancestor acquired from his father-in-law, Laurent Migneron,
January 15, 1700 and is situated on the boundaries of Beaupr and
St-Joachim.

Normandie - France
In August 1994, during
our trip, ''Tracking our ancestors'', in France, the Dufour families
dedicated this commemorative plaque as a tribute to Gabriel-Robert
Dufour, who was native from St-Jacques, parish of Lisieux in Normandy,
before he left for Nouvelle-France. It is hanging on the walls of the
Cathedral St-Pierre in Lisieux.

This memorial was erected
in the sector known as "Rivi re Mailloux", where Joseph Dufour
lived on the concession, January 28 1771.
